Save Recovery Snapshot

The scanning process of Windows partition might consume several hours. This option enables user to save the snapshot of scanned disk. Later, user can load it to Windows data Recovery software and resume the files recovery process after the scanning is completed. The snapshots are saved in .NKFN file format.

Load Recovery Snapshot

This option helps for further processing by loading the saved .NKFN file to Windows FAT and NTFS.

Settings

It enables user to define settings for the software before files repairing operation starts, for an example number of sectors to read in single attempt, duplicating, or skipping duplicate files, renaming, number of retries on bad sectors, settings for deleted files to include them, exclude them, or to only recover deleted files.

There are also other options available on this software such as File filters. This option allows the user to retrieve data from specific file types such as .xls or .doc. After the completion of scanning process, the result is displayed in a tree form. You can also see the preview of restored data before saving it on your hard disk or portable storage Medias.

The file recovery utility is available in both free and licensed versions. Anyone can download and use the demo program at free of cost. You can use the free tool to evaluate its functionalities. However using unlicensed version, you won’t be able to save the restored data. To ensure saving of retrieved folders on your system, you will have to buy the paid version of the tool.
